This business began back in 2014 when we decided to design and build our own log bed. We had no idea it would eventually grow into what it is now. In 2017 we became a member of the Made in MT Program and took a leap of faith, booking as many craft shows as we could. Knotty Pine Woodworks is now a full time job for both of us. We make a great team as we typically design projects together, JR builds them, and Samantha does all of the finishing process. We have two young children who also love getting involved. From harvesting logs, to painting, sanding, and sometimes even creating their own designs, it keeps us all together having fun. We have a passion for Montana and the outdoors and try to incorporate that in everything from our large furniture to our home décor.
